Welcome to Iosco County Medical Care Facility
We are a 78 bed skilled nursing facility serving those residents who need long-term care and extensive rehabilitation. Staffed with caring professionals, the Iosco County Medical Care Facility has maintained the highest standards for levels of care and quality of life for over 58 years. Our nursing facility is completely remodeled, and includes a new state-of-the-art 28 bed Alzheimer's Care Facility with special programming for the Alzheimer's residents. IMCF offers on site podiatry, dental, and vision services all accepting Medicare and Medicaid payments. The facility provides a full range of senior healthcare services for the Iosco County community. Located on the beautiful "Sunrise Side" in Tawas City, the Iosco County Medical Care Facility is landscaped with extensive outdoor amenities. These include raised flower and gardening beds, picnic areas, fountain, patio, pavilion, handicapped seating and over a half mile of walkways through the park and woodlands setting, all designed specifically for use by our residents and families.

Cable TV hook-up in each room
Televisions are available for viewing in the solariums and dining/day rooms. Personal televisions are also allowed in the residents’ rooms. Please see the Social Worker for the detailed policy for personal televisions. Cable TV is available for a minimal charge.
